About me

I am a passionate tour guide with extensive experience working with visitors from different countries who want to discover Moldova beyond the classic routes. I specialize in 20th-century history, which I present through authentic stories and by interpreting the architecture of Chișinău. My tours focus on the urban development of the capital, its iconic buildings, and the traces left by different historical periods. A distinct area of my work is the Transnistrian region, which I present in a balanced and informative way. I enjoy turning historical facts into vivid, easy-to-understand, and memorable experiences for visitors. I work with both individual travelers and groups, adapting each tour to the interests and knowledge level of the participants. For me, guiding means dialogue, curiosity, and a genuine desire to show Moldova as it truly is, in all its complexity.

Ekaterina was amazing! She has lived in both Transnistria and Moldova, and done lots of different types of work, so she has nuanced views and understands all the different perspectives. We had some really interesting conversations. The tour was well-planned and stopped at all the best places. We also mentioned that we’re interested in the business side of things and Jewish history, and she took time to stop by extra places that we were specifically interested in :)
